WOW what is funny in this tread is there has only been a few believers that made a post and everyone we did there was comments about how we need to watch what we say but if you are a atheist you can say whatever you want and quote anything and nothing gets said. Excellent thread overview! I started this thread simply to "like the title says" make you think but ALMOST everyone in here shot it down all simply due to the fact that it mentions GOD! Think about what you believe and make your own quotes from your own life. All of these people in the Bible and whatever you atheist live by quote someone elses life but if your really believe in what you are you will create your own in your walk.

And if you read the order of the posts I said there would be no preaching, after which a couple came in and started to say a bit more about atheism to which I said things need to be kept down and that the vid is inspirational even without the religious undertones

Quoting someone has nothing to do with religion. I quote people all the time in various papers and rarely do they have anything to do with religion.

The reason I like that particular quote is because it states a point that I always try to make, but in the perfect words. It's not like I heard that quote and then started thinking that way. I was already thinking that way, which lead me to find the quote. I guess Christians should never quote the Bible either then right?

Instead of attacking us for liking the quote, respond to it. It makes a great point and I have yet to see a Christian reply to it so I would be interested. By you picking Christianity, you refuse to believe in all other Gods, right? Much like I refuse to believe in yours.

lay off the war tactics guys it specifically says in the rules "No controversial threads. Any questionable threads will be moved to the Moderators Forum since there may be follow-up with the people involved." however i AM a believer, i do pray, and will continue to da so... i would rather believe in something that doesnt exist hoping to be in a better place later, than to not believe and and be screwed if he is real... that being said, im spiritual, but i dont like religion because its like different races, just because your one another doesnt like you... i dont like that. also locking this thread per the following rule.
