Procharged 5.0 Fox Body Hatch Back

This is a sharp looking dark gray fox body hatch with a procharger kit and I dont know what else. The guy just said "a lot" when I asked what was done to it besides the charger.

It surprised me because before I put on the headers we went from a 45 roll and I hung with dead even through second and third then when we hit 4th he pulled away about a car.


Well I have the headers and ET streets on now so I find him tonight and get him to go out to our backwoods drag strip and throw down. All in all we gathered about 15 cars and went out there.

1st race shook down like this.

I heat the tires, dry hop, and stage at about 3500 or so. Get a pretty good launch and he launches right beside me and is there through 1st. I'm like oh crap he's gonna leave me with that boost.
I shift into 2nd and surprisingly pull away a little.
Shift into 3rd and pull even harder.
Then I heard him miss a gear, so I stuffed it in 4th and flew across the stripe.

LT1 by 5 cars. That's right FIVE cars...

2nd race. Decided not to heat the tires.

Just pulled back up, cleaned them off a little, and ready to roll.

Dump it at about 4K and they spun BAD. I immediately pushed in the clutch and stopped and made him back up. I wasn't gonna try and run him down with a bad launch although I'm sure I could have.

3rd race. We stage again, after I get the the tires nice and warm.
I dry hop it hard to make sure we're gonna stick.

Stage, pull the rpms up to about 4200.

Hands flinch, then drop and I nail the launch. Pull about half a car in 1st.

1.5 cars in 2nd.

2.5 cars in 3rd.

eek it out to about 3 cars in 4th then quit pulling him and we sat fairly even til the finish.

LT1 by 3 cars...

I was impressed with her tonight. It was running great in the cool night air and I was very proud to have taken down a boosted fox.

then kinda ended the night on a bad note because I broke the tranny racing my buddies truck. Bittersweet I guess..

Who the hell would want a mus-turd lol.
