    Default ngk tr5 or ngk tr55

    which one will work better? the ngk tr5 is gapped at .035 and the tr55 is gapped at .05, but i don't know what that means! so which one will work better on a car with only a cia, headers, and cat-back?

    The gap is the actual distance between the electrode and the ground strap. (the post in the center of the plug the spark comes from, and the tip of the 90 degree bend the spark arc's to). Remember to double check the gap on the plugs before installing them. Any parts salesmen worth paying to sell auto parts can show you what your checking and how to check/ adjust it when you buy your plugs. Also remebber to get the wires all the way back on the plugs and make sure the wires are clear of the headers/ manifolds! Enjoy and if this is your first plug change on an LT1, save up lots of patience!!

    Yeah that plug change is going to be a beast (especially if its your first time). Just be patient, and if you run into a wall just take a beer/cig/whatever youd like break. It all comes togeather after that break

    You will also be happy knowing you got some quality plugs in there!
