Default weird tps issue with holley 52mm

well finally installed my holley 52mm. set the tps on .67 and it was 4.75 (if i remember right) on wot. took it for a 20 minute test drive and the idel started at 1000 then after 10 minutes was 2100 then 15 minutes was 3100. came back to the house and tested tps with the key on and it was at .73! what the hell. i know tps does effect performance if its out of wack and the car when ideling at 3100 was slow and getting to much fuel. any idea's guys? after dinner ima put it back to .67 a nd test drive it again i guess

You will need to open up the holes on the TPS housing itself and swivel it till you set it with .5-.69v

    Good Luck.

You probably didn't have the TPS screwed on tight enough and it was moving. Or your TB blades are sticking.

Set it at .50v then and tighten the screws, dont TORQUE them just tigthen em up, you should be fine. It sounds like they were not tight enough and the TPS was moving with the blade shaft or you didnt set it the first go.

Its the range .50-.62v, set it in that area. I like to go as low as possible so it never has a chance to maxing itself out. Mines at its lowest point of .57v

very good info there. thank u! i got it all setup like u said. this damn holley is pissing me off though with the idle screw backed out but the tb bracket only goes down so far so its idleing at 1200ish. no ses light but i did notice the wot volts are different when compared to me manually opening the tb and when the the gas pedal is wot. im prolly gonna switch back to the stocker its to soon yo the shootout to be messing with small things lol
