Crazy NASCAR Wreck
Well I dont know how many of yall watch NASCAR, but I watch it when I get a chance, and since Dale Earnhardt Jr. is my favorite driver I wasnt about to miss this race at Talladega this past sunday.
Well it was a great race, lots of big wrecks but man the wreck on the last lap with Carl Edwards was insane, and then what happened when he got out of the car made me lulz

Nascar officials have insisted that safety is their "number one priority" after seven spectators were injured when Carl Edwards' car crashed into a perimeter fence on the final lap of the Aaron's 499 at Talladega Superspeedway in Alabama on Sunday.
The fans sustained minor injuries after being struck by flying debris as Edwards' car, at near 200mph, went airborne after colliding with eventual race winner Brad Keselowski, smashing into the fence, having bounced off the front of another car driven by Ryan Newman.

well only 7 people isnt much, especially considering that there was a brand new safety fence installed not to long ago at that track, I cant even imagine how easily that car would have gone through the standard fence,
But I think just minor debris made it through and over the fence and that cause the injuries, one thing I noticed after the wreck, his carb flew off at some point in the race, so somebody got a huge custom 4 barrel haha97 Trans Am WS6, LT1 factory 4bolt freak, M6,

The fence at Dega was not brand new. The cables were. They redo the cables every few years becuase the tension start to wear them down after a while. That fence is the biggest strongest looking fence I've seen at any Nascar track including Daytona.
Also, the carbs are standard Holley 850's. They do have some tuning in them but nothing custom.
Great race and glad no one really got hurt badly.

how much do any of you want to bet that those people that got hurt brag about it, like it's a badge of honor or something. I think that Carl was pretty cool about the whole deal, the only thing I don't like about him is that he drives a ford. That's one of the first races that I've watched this year and was not pissed when it was over, pretty good race.
