    Default what kind of paint????

    ok so i recently got a grand to spend and i wanna paint my car its black now. i just need to know what brand of paint to buy?? i want yellow like whats on the newer zo6s. what brand do you guys recommend??

    one of my dads friends is doing it for free (the labor) so i just need to buy the paint. i hope i can get the paint for under a grand

    I second ppg, I have ppg shop line on my car, and it looks great. When I bought the paint, reducers, clear, mixing cups, filters, sandpaper, and everything else, I spent less than $400, and that was stuff for a gallon of base and clear. Oh yeah, that was for the stock polo green. I think the yellow than the vette's use, or atleast the C5's is called millenium(sp?) yellow, not sure if the C6 z's use the same, but I'm pretty sure they do, someone correct me if I'm wrong.
    1995 Formy M6 T-top LS1 WS6 air box w/LG G2 lid, LE 226/230 cam, cleaned up stock heads, 1.6 RR's, SLP pp, SPEC stage 3+ disc, LPP longtubes, Magnaflow, t/a cover, 3.73's, J&M LCA's, UMI 3pt SFC's. 12.8 @ 110 on a 2.00 60' 3 days after going back together untuned.

    I'm not saying ten thousand for a paint job, but if you don't want a shitty looking car $1,000 will not get you a total color change, and there is sooo much labor involved I highly doubt anyone in their right mind would donate that much labor for free...
