why is everyone saying to stock up so much on ammo?

Mainly because of any restrictions on guns/ammo that may potentially be put in place by the Obama administration. Stuff like a new assault weapons ban, increased taxes on ammunition purchases, and their general (mis)interpretation of the second amendment. Hopefully none of that will happen, but nobody really knows yet.

Yea I love target shooting
I have a 45 Jericho and 2 .357 revolvers, a snubby Rossi and a giant Taurus
Ive been stock piling ammo so when I move back to west Texas i can go into the dunes and shoot, its too expensive down here and its all flat and over populated, so you cant just go into a field and shoot97 Trans Am WS6, LT1 factory 4bolt freak, M6,
