Default Warped 3 bolt collector flange

So my collector flanges on my jets hots are warped, I have those thick dead soft aluminum gaskets and they still don't seal. I been think about getting some ball flange collectors. Anybody ever tried these? These use no gaskets and supposedly leak free.

I've used them, they usually work good. I got some 3 bolt collector adapters from summit and they suck, theyre so poorly designed that you cant even fit the 3 bolts in, so stay away from those.

you could just cut it off and do a slip fit conection and use the wrap style clamps.

Hmm doesn't sound too inspiring, lol. What's their problem? Yeah I'm going to do away with the 3 bolt flange setup so no worries there. But I do agree with you I used the summit collectors on my true dual setup and they're garbage.

Mustangs come stock with the ball flange sockets, and they dont leak. They should do fine.

I have slip fit connections on my LT's they're fine just don't use regular clamps like I first did! I have several friends with the ball and socket style flanges on their Mustangs and they have not had any issues.

Many of the S-10 guys cut off the 3bolt flanges (especially Hedman really thin flanges) and go with the ball and socket when doing V8 swaps.
