California Emissions in your state?
I was reading an article by Scott Parker in my GMHTP tonight about building green streetcars. He is an LT1 owner and was basically talking about how the lsx series was superior when it comes to making eco friendly power, and the sbc and lt1 are like antiques.
He then says, "If in fact California Emissions standards become nation-wide, we'll soon be reevaluating what we call a streetcar."
Should we be worried about this happening? Especially with the new green powered president in office?
I know that we can make eco friendly builds, but this is making me think differently about how I may build my car. Just think of all the longtubes and true duals that would be thrown off cars, or how many cars would be taken off the streets that cant pass.1997 Trans am- M6- Ebay Longtubes, Summit X pipe with Magnaflows, CAI, Adj LCAs with relocation brackets, Comp engineering shocks, Competition stage 2 clutch.

I dont think it would effect our cars, just like modern laws dont effect older cars as far as emissionns go. I would think or at least hope it would be applied 2 cars that were made after any laws were past.

I have heard stuff about California laws spreading, but like was said earlier it sounded like it was more about standards the manufacturers need to meet. I have emissions testing in my county but my car is OBDII so I'm good to go at the moment
If anything changes I could always register the car in Idaho. I'm right on the border.
