I have heard that yes it does what it says and penetrates the metal, but what do you think it does to the strength of that metal?
Most of the time when you saturate something, it becomes weaker

Yea I just don't trust stuff like that, personally I wouldn't want something seeping into my block and pistons, it would add weight to the rotating assembly and such.
The only reason these shows endorse it is because they are paying the show to advertise.

I use it and picked up 5 tenths in the 1/4 mile.
j/k. The only additive I use is Lucas Oil additive to prevent dry startups, but a lot of people are against that stuff to.1997 Trans am- M6- Ebay Longtubes, Summit X pipe with Magnaflows, CAI, Adj LCAs with relocation brackets, Comp engineering shocks, Competition stage 2 clutch.

that Zmax is crap, When I worked at Pepboys I use to hawk it.
I think its just a teflon additive
I think I remember reading somewhere that if you added it to your oil and then ran the oil for more than like 4000 miles that the zmax turns into a flaky white material in your oil and gums up all sorts of stuff and is bad news.
honestly I wouldnt add anything like that unless your motor is close to pushing daisies, and even then I would just put some stop leak in there, its cheaper97 Trans Am WS6, LT1 factory 4bolt freak, M6,
