Unfortunately only partly... I had my buddy take off the wrap on the two manifolds, but I left it on the crossover and downpipe.
When I received the kit it was completely wrapped like you mentioned... and I mocked it up in my room. Well I use to be a roofer and I have dealt with fiberglass before so I didn't think anything of it.
Well I got the wrap all over my forearms and lower stomach and, naturally, it started itching. I took a shower and it didn't seem to go away... I just figured I would have to deal with it for a couple days. A week went by and it was only getting worse and making it very uncomfortable to sleep or pay attention in classes. I finally went to an urgent care and for the first time in my life, I had an allergic reaction to something. They gave me a prescription cream and put me on steroids for a week. I got it on me again about 2 months ago but luckily I had some of the prescription cream left.
I am HIGHLY allergic to the stuff for some reason, which I find very odd because when I roofed, I literally carried fiberglass insulation every single day and it never lasted more than a couple days/showers. So I decided to take it off the manifolds because if I ever have to change the plugs, I would never be able to get around the wrap.

Sounds to me like you need to start putting the car together. Those parts will be figured out and purchased quickly after you get started on the car.

I was disappointed recently to find out the Jason Cromer no longer has the best deal on opti sparks... Got beat by summit by about $60
