    Default Installing my QA1s... HEADACHE!

    15 years on the STOCK front shocks = a shit ton of rust on this damn nut that holds the spring perch on. Kill me. I got one off with a dremel and cutting wheel, still one more to go...

    having the lt1s is soooo much fun huh but when your all done with your car and are just driving it around and you go to WOT its worth every second, every sweat drop and every blood cell lost

    Thats why I never messed with trying to reuse the upper strut mounts. I did one time before and couldn't get the bolt out of the steel sleeves in the mount. With AFCO's you don't even use a stock style upper strut mount and all required mounting parts come with them.
    So far 10.576 @ 128.64 on a 1.563 short time. N/A.
    8.957 @ 151.60 on a 1.349 60' time

    I just ordered new Moog upper mounts, I didnt ake my old ones apart at all. after how old they are they could use replaced anyway.
    93 TA, 383 stroker, ATI procharger, Accel DFI Gen VII, TH400 RMVB w/Tbrake, narrowed moser 9 inch.

    i just took a sawzall to mine right below the upper mount.a good metal blade and it was all over with
