yeah thats the stuff i was going to get for it.

OG 2nd nitrous pump is now wired and plumbed back in (i never removed it from the car, just disconnected the line and capped the pump) for boost enrichment. the relays i bought the other day do not have resistors on the coil side, and turbosmart says to use resistor relays only, so i just set it up that when i flip the nitrous switch, it enables both boost controller and 2nd pump. fpr compensates fine, car didnt run any different out of boost with 2nd pump on.

felt good albeit not as fast as last night lol. i was peer pressured into taking timing out up top for safety, and now hitting new map values it is rich in higher boost, also due to the timing being reduced significantly (24 degrees down to 17 makes a helluva difference).

    but we are getting there

I only run 19* up top.

Timing breaks things, easier/safer to just add boost (as long as the IAT isn't crazy)

    Who said anything about AFR?

BLS and I both only run 19* up top. Don't chase timing

engine wants the timing it wants. timing is not the only thing that breaks stuff is my point. everyone gets on that bandwagon (in nitrous circles too) and "rich and retarded is SAFE" no it is not. cannot have a blow torch effect without fuel, straight from some of the best in the game.

i will ramp up timing by reading plugs and give it what it wants safely.

osies is at 26 degrees up top, 12psi. runs fine. has for years.

even using the rule of thumb, BLS timing is close (1* retard per psi, he makes around 18psi of boost)

i am at 9 psi. 36 degrees na timing minus 1* per psi, 26* was right around where it should be, i was at 24*, 17* is stupid low. this isnt a LS

Got the MSD 8733 2 step installed saturday quick when the rain stopped. Was able to take it for a quick test ride and also datalog new tune file that is scaled 50% to get the timing tables more resolution (was maxing the timing table out in boost)

I am able to footbrake the car to about 2600rpm, so i set the 2step there, and was pleasantly surprised it will build about 2psi set so low after a few seconds. wish i could set it higher, but we will get there.

Bring lots of plugs and all the springs you have for the wastegate.

Be prepared for cold side coupler blowing off too once you start hitting higher boost numbers.
