Oh FYI, whenever the fuel gauge read 1/4 tank, it was nearly empty. I recall that being common on fbodys but not sure if there was a fix for it like recalibrating the gauge.

ahh good to know thank you, yea recalibrating is bending the float arm until it is right

Shoebox wrote this up almost 30 years ago. His estimate of how much is still in the tank for each gauge mark agrees closely with the results I figured out the first year I owned my 94. As he notes, it’s all due to the somewhat triangular shape of the tank. You just learn to live with it.

I adjusted(bent) the arm on my float when I upgraded my fuel pump. So it didn't really help anything, it's about the same, half tank and falling on the gauge is time to get gas.

got the torque arm installed and driveshaft installed, that was a fight, i planned on working on it more saturday and start installing the engine harness, but by the time i got done messing with the bird and cleaning up the garage, it got windy and COOOOLD quick saturday afternoon. I fought with the torque arm long enough that when i got done with it it was dark, and it rained yesterday, so meh.

slow progress is better than no progress tho

Unfortunately the LS driveshaft I had is one of the parts that went "missing". If you intend to stick with the stock one, you may want to get it checked/re-balanced if possible.

got some progress, actually got damn close to firing it off yesterday, but didnt realize there was no plug in the canton 1/2npt temp sensor hole on passenger side. filled with oil and suddenly hear oil running on the ground at 1030pm. I didnt have a plug, so threw a pan under it and cleaned up.

downpipe hits steering shaft rag eliminator, thats gonna require some tweaking.

94 harness/pcm are in as well. since im just firing it off i put the stock 93 fuel rails back on for now.

just realized I didnt take any pics after putting harness in, which is good, because it's a little messy lol

ITS ALIVE!!!! found a 1/2npt to 3/8npt bushing at work, cut down a allen key, put a 3/8npt hex plug in the bushing, and worked it into the pan 1/8 a turn at a time.

flashed a stock 94 camaro file in with injector constant changed, and it fired basically right up! yea there's a miss or 2, but thats minor.

new issue: clutch fork hits PP. had that same exact issue years ago on my heads cam 94 in 2017. i spoke to a few guys today and they said to shave the clutch pivot .200", that'll be fun to get out but we will get it sorted.
