I'm done for the year. I'm stupid for even trying. should have just got the mcnord or a stock bumper and been done.

I have other things to do to the car that kinda were planned with this bumper in mind. now have to redo those plans.

really looking at merging a stock and this bumper together

    Good luck with that lol.

Working with plastics is a PITA, but at least they bend (unlike fiberglass, etc). I have used a heat gun on low heat and straps to help reshape/remold pieces. It doesn't work so well with stretching, but plastics in general are a PITA and require magic to get right. I'm sure with enough fiberglass, you could make anything work.

I've been reading up on it and it seems pretty straight forward, just finding that straight cut is the hard part

well, bumpers are cut. rough shape works out except one big issue. the pointed look of the stock bumper is about 2" further out than the zr1 bumper which doesn't have a point. when you bend down the stock point to be flush the car gets very dodge avenger (90's style).

If I extend the zr1 lower bumper out I would have the top further out than the bottom, which would look funny

    decisions
