Because ever since bryan herter sold it to keith or kevin... it sucks. His tune had my car down over 100hp and horrible drivability. Herter was talented... the new guy... not so much.
My suggestion is that if u want a mail order tune, contact Moe @MoeHorsePower . The man knows lt1s. He had the closest mail order tune for my complicated boosted set up. Only surpassed by a dyno tune.

I agree i hear many good things about moe. I had issues after both tunes. I'm not saying it was the tunes themselves as I did also change injectors at the time. It seems like the issue started after one of the two changes.
The car is in storage right now so diagnosis isn't gonna happen yet but I shouldn't have much issue getting a tune locally now that I'll be 24x.

Yeah I'm changing up a lot of things this year so I figured I'd try something different. I had Paul from torqhead already tune the pcm but I'll have it tweaked on the dyno.
I probably could have still run the opti but o had my mind set and as you said more doors open up with this system.
