LTX Head Choices
Been out of the game for awhile, whats the choices these days for head castings?
Looking to leave em as cast, or flow around LE3s area. Nothing fancy.Correlation does not imply causation.

AFR 227's flow over 320 but require quite a few special parts. The AFR 210 comp ported flow great as well and require no special stuff. AI TFS 215's flow insane too.
Edit: to my knowledge TFS doesn't make anything "as cast" that would compare to an LE3 head. They have the 195cc and 185cc 21 degree head.'94 coupe, 10.15 at 133.65 414" LT1, 4500 stall, n/a, pump gas, mufflers, street trim

Supporting MemberTrickflow 21 degree ported by Lloyd are hoes. Fit 4 fingers in that intake port. Friggin sexy. Lloyd says they flow over 300. He's boosted so they will flow plenty. Come with guide plates and studs too. @NightTrain66

The 210 eliminators are supposed to be easy valvetrain-wise unless you're unlucky like me and get stuck with very early versions of them. I had to run offset Harland Sharp rockers on the intakes to get the geometry right but it was no big deal, they were only $30 more than regular rockers. Setting up 227's would be the same. You could get shaft rockers if you wanna splurge, but they're probably overkill with a HR cam.
The 210/227 hardware is more geared towards the solid roller crowd judging by ridiculous spring seat pressure/rate. The valves are also considerably lighter than the Ferreas that come with the TFS genX stuff. I remember my 210 valves weighed close to stock so maybe they're hollow? The AFR tech I spoke to also advised against using the factory 210 valves in a high boost application. Other than those quirks, the castings are super nice and the decks are 3/4" thick.
Other than that, you have TFS stuff from AI or Lloyd. TEA used to do a 220cc genX with some insane flow numbers on the exhaust but I don't see it on their site.96 Z28 - ERE-383, AFRs, 9", Procharger D1, TermiX, etc.
