Thread: Carb swap???

    Thanks firebird_95,I have read that thread a lot lately.But It does not say if they dropped the engine or not.Everybody has cut the wiper out on that thread also..Im trying to get as much info as possable before I start.But im going to start in the next week no matter what.Im having to nuch trouble with the opti is why im swapping.

    What troubles are you having with the opti? It's pretty fool proof unless you're buying garbage optis/soaking them in coolant

    Ive bought every brand from A/C delco to MSD to duralast.There all the same going out about the same.I have to say the duralast was the only one that lasted.The Msd one lasted about 10 years.Then it went down.Fron there on all down hill.I posted my problem at this moment in this section.

    I've had 4 lt1 cars and I've only replaced 2 opti's both were shortly afyer purchasing the cars because they were soaked in coolant.
