Default Looks like the Vette is down for the Count right now.....

This happened ONCE before, out of nowhere, but then on Thursday happened three more times. First instance, after driving on and off for the better part of an hour, I'm sitting at a light and suddenly I get a chime and a check gauges light. Oil pressure was nearly bottomed out. After 4-5 seconds it started recovering. Got home, checked oil level, it was FINE. Decided to go ahead and give each of the boys a quick spin, and each time, AFTER I slowed down, turned around, and started heading home, same thing, oil pressure dropped, got the chime and check gauges light, then 4-5 seconds later would recover. Looks like I need an oil pump as the check valve in mine is sticking.

Did get these though, and that was worth it.

Shouldn't be any. A few idling seconds won't hurt it. Just sucks how far I'm gonna tear it down without enhancing anything. Just going to do it over the winter when I do the head gaskets.

Almost a cam swap. I was going to pull the heads anyway and redo the gaskets, and this is the point that the Tony Mamo AFR head and cam setup would have come in if not for the new AC unit on my house.
