looking to see how many have run stock bottom ends with boost and how long it lasted?
ok so after hours of looking im just going to ask ....how many people has just bolted a procharger (ati or vortec) to a lt1 say stock every thing and how long did it last what was it like ...
also after doing that what mods were next? How did they make the car react ? ...i seen this 10s formula (in gm high tech ) some time back but i find it kinda hard to grasp with only 5700 miles
going to try and pick up a unit myself soon thinking about bolting it on with low boost for some fun 100HP bump would be cool.
I have a 383 waiting but if i do this rout ill change the pistons and built a spare motor for proper boost steup
also how much of a pain would a 93 be to tune(re chip)

It will react like any other boosted car, the motor/blower does not care what internal it has. If you truly have a 383 waiting for boost, do not waste your time and money with the SBE in car now. Seriously, leave it alone.
Spend and cry once, versus spend twice, and cry twice.Correlation does not imply causation.
