    typo?

IAT = inlet air temp - you need this for speed-density. The PCM needs the absolute air temperature (IAT-deg-F + 460 = degrees-Rankine) and the absolute air pressure (MAP) to calculate the density of the air. Density X volume = mass air flow. Volume of air flow is derived from the displacement X RPM/2 X volumetric efficiency (VE).

IAC = idle air control - not part of speed-density

Got it...sorry. The sensor that goes in the rubber elbow on the stock intake. Any suggestions on best location for this now? I have a custom airbox that has a flat filter to feed off the cowl. I would thing drilling a hole and mounting it here would work.

Doesn't matter as long as its in the air stream somewhere.

I am going to guess closes to the intake hole. Here is a picture of it.

I like mine away from any sources of radiant heat(hard to accomplish in an engine bay), they do heat soak. Having them measure actual air temp consistently help tuning and drivability.

Not having proper Injector data ends the discussion. Without it, its a crap shoot.

The jet can can change some of the tables to get'r running but there are other fueling tables accessible in Hpt that make a good difference.
