I bought a new set of lunati hyd. roller lifters.i put them in my engine.I cant get them to collapse with a pushrod using my hand.Is this normal or not?I have collapsed alot of them with a pushrod just using my hand to push it down.

If there's only oil below the plunger then it's going to be pretty hard to collapse.
