Default How long does a ewp last?

I have the chance to buy a used ewp. It has 20k miles on it? Good buy for 100 bucks or no? What's the reviews on them....

That's a good price depends on wich EPW it is. Roughly 50,000 miles you can have them rebuilt for the price that you say you can pick it up for.

I had one of the first gen Mezeire pumps back in 2001. I only had about 4k miles on mine but it just went out two weeks ago so I bought a new one that has a two year unlimited mile warranty. My pump did sit for 8 years without use so that could be why mine failed with such low mileage.

Most people buy two just incase one breaks and get them stranded

I put one on my camaro back when it had the stock motor in it (approx 2004). I AM still running it that way. 2 engines later and over 50k.

I believe I am convinced on eletric route. I have one more question. Can anyone hook up a fail safe for a ewp. Maybe a buzzer if it would ever quit? And I should probably keep a second one on hand if the first would ever quit?
