For sure! I am considering a very similar build for next winter. But mine may include FI as I mentioned. If the budget doesn't allow then this will be more than enough to play with in the meantime!
Sent from my iPhone using TapatalkArctic White 1996 Z28. Stock internal LT1, CAI, LM1, MGW Shifter, 3.73's, some suspension junk, and shiny salad shooters (retired). Forgestar F14's 18x10 on all 4. Fun stuff coming soon. Also, Cali smog regulations suck...period. **Insert witty quote here** LT1FTW that is all. Have a nice day.

Whatever you do make sure to torque the head bolts to at least 500ft lbs. Really gets the gasket seated

I have Thursdays off too. Of course, I appreciate you lending a hand. I'll let you know if/when I need help lol.
I was gonna torque to 10000ft lbs
Well, to follow up on my abs block problem. It's the first line of thread that is damaged in it. I'm honestly about to buy a brake fitting and wrap that shit in Teflon and Hercules it in.

Also, holy oil up front batman!

Is the block thread damaged or the fitting?
And usually brake fittings seal on face bro, not threads.Correlation does not imply causation.

The block thread is damaged, just the first thread in it literally. Won't allow it to start all the way.

So... run a thread cleaner or tap through it...?
