Hi 383z. No my passenger side valve cover doesn't have a notch. I did the low mount alternator relocation, so I'm not limited in valve cover selection. There are kits out there for this.
Yeah the guy at Crower scared me when he told me how much the studs flex, even the 7/16" studs. I have 3/8" studs so I was really convinced.
Yes I have a picture of my valve covers. I'll find it and post it.

Here's the best one I could find for now. Just flat/smooth and 4 center bolt holes.
