Tuning a 97 Z28
I have researched and I think I'm going to buy the Jet DST tuning for my 97 Z28. As far as scanning/logging goes, I was going to download the Torque Pro app, but what ELM device should I get? Thanks in advance!

I could never get Torque to work. I got a program called OBDwiz. Its $24 on amazon, basically the cost of the OBD2 cord. I haven't data logged with it, but from what I've gathered from it, it is pretty nice.

Do you guys tune with the Jet DST program? I wish HPtuners supported the 97, if I was going to do the 24x conversion, I'd probably just do the entire LS swap (turbo 5.3). Right now that is not my priority with the car, though.

I use a "V1.5 Super Mini ELM327 OBD2 OBD-II Bluetooth CAN-BUS" on my 96 WS6 with the Toque app. (Got it in 2012)
I have also tried 2 different ones on v2.1 this year, both claiming to work with all protocols. (They did not work though on early OBD2 GM or Ford)1996 Trans am WS6, Paxton SN2000, Pacesetter Longtubes, Borla Catback, 30# injectors, Meziere electric water pump etc.. Ticking time bomb since 1997!

i use the torque pro app at work. it works great. My boss has ordered several of the adapters after i started using it he wanted to get one for all his friends lol. anyway we have several like the link, and the small blue ones. im not sure what it is but they are all over the board. about half of them work perfectly on everything. some of them dont work at all, and some wont work on certain vehicles. i personally cant blame it on the small blue one or the big black one, seems to be either. My boss may have also ordered his from china, im not sure.
I ordered my original one from ebay in the us. small blue elm 327 been using it a few years now and it has worked on everything i tried it on.
