Center console hinge
My center console broke off at the hinge. This is in the older 4thgen where the hinge is in the rear. My v6 was new style and had the hinge on the side. They were a lot stronger!
So far everywhere I've checked has them listed as discontinued. Has anyone had success putting in a metal hinge? Or am I going to have to live with my armrest in the back seat

Both of the 94 fbodies that Ive owned had problems with the center console hinge. Did the hinge section break off on the console or the armrest part?

Common problem.. i assume its the lid thats broken and not the console? thats how they usually are.
You can change it out for the newer console with the sideways lid, but on the camaro it leaves a pretty big gap at the dash. probably 2-3 inches
I have a good lid if you are interested....40 shipped

I will check, I think the console hinge may have broken a little too. I will buy yours. Give me a few days
