Stock manifolds reversed or shorty headers for turbo
Hello I am going to begin piecing together my turbo build and I was wondering what would work best, the stock manifolds reversed or some shortie or mid lengths? Which would get me the most gains or does it not matter what type of manifolds for a turbo build? I'm planning on pushing only 5-9 psi and hoping for 500-600hp with a turbo cam. Also where can I get some forged pistons for the stock block? The only ones I can find are for a 4.030 bore. Or something simular. Any help would be appreciated.

They would be like this. I just didn't know if the power gain would be more with shortie or not when it comes to turbos @Fastbird

The hotside posted was mine. Fit well, had to delete ac. I made 426/511 with just that hotside, an eBay 70, and a walbro. 7psi. I wouldn't expect crazy numbers but it was a fun street car.

I'd go shorties for sure. I'm running cheapo shorties now actually.

I bought these off eBay a while back. They were $400. I probably won't ever use them. Let me know if you're interested.Chris
