    Default fuel pump help

    K just got the walbro 255 and I'm having problems with the bucket . What type of glue go I need to apply to the bucket to close the lid .... I'm doing the trap door and the lid on the bucket doesn't convince me that it will hold.. I have read the threads and they say to use glue but never stated which will hold up in the gasoline....I'm wanna go to the local shop see what is the poper glue to use .... help on this

    you can use 5 minute epoxy i do believe

    I would use super glue or maybe a silicone safe for oils/fuels. The epoxy works to but sometimes it can get messy. hahaha believe me

    Thanks guys I still don't know which one to use I'm a little concerned that glue or epoxy might not work or dissolve in the gas has any one had a bad experiance with any of these products

    I'd def use some kind of silicon or glue that will work as a sealant to prevent fumes from entering your cabin.

    I used goop it comes in a red tube and it is gas resistant .I bought mine a orilleys.
