BBK Questions. Baer vs Wilwood
I've read a few threads already on big brake kits and upgrades. Looking into getting a front kit for now then getting a rear kit later? I've also considered just switching to LS1 car rears. That's in the air still and input would be appreciated.
Anyway, big debate is over these 2 kits. One from Wilwood "forged superlite" 4 piston kit 13" rotor SS lines and all that's needed beside obviously new LS style spindles or cutting the existing ones may have adapter brackets etc. I'll provide the FleaBay link but I can take it down if need be. Shown here for $979 or so: http://vi.raptor.ebaydesc.com/ws/eBa...=1440868564610.
Next kit is the Baer Track Kit "T4" 4 piston with 13" rotor found here for about $1395 +tax shipping etc. http://baer.com/13-Front-Track4-Brak...m-4301396.html
These are going to be filling out my soon to be new 18" wheels. And the price point is right where I need it. Again any input is appreciated from all...
However I'm calling out @CALL911 and @MeanTA specifically for info lol you guys have experience with both companies if I'm not mistaken.

Fun stuff coming soon. Also, Cali smog regulations suck...period. **Insert witty quote here** LT1FTW that is all. Have a nice day.

Supporting MemberI had a older Baer track setup 13" (2 piston pbr caliper, basically a c4 hd kit) before they started making their own calipers, @Ltconvert has a Baer track 2 piston setup with 2 piece 13.25 rotors and it stops like nobody's businesd. Baer was pretty good with tech support.

Thanks for the input. I'm leaning towards the Baer kit. Price point is a tiny bit higher but well worth it for the amount of positive reviews and sheer stopping power for the given price point. Anything to beat these tiny stock brakes. Thanks again @SSlowBoat

@SJx408 sorry for late response. Been busy weekend. lol
I'm a huge fan of Wilwood. I am a big fan of the two piece rotor setup. And the overall design and strength of them seems a lot better IMO. And they have never let me down on the track. Plus there customer support is top notch.
I actually have a Wilwood superlite 6 piston caliper on 13.06 rotor setup. That I am trying to sell.
