Default obd1 vs obd2 crank/crank timing gear differences?

I bought an obd1 motor that ran good and after a head job (port/polish and valve grind) and a cam I am almost ready to install it in my sons 97 formula. I had forgotten about the hall effect trigger for the CPS and am hoping somebody will verify it will work in/on an obd1 motor/crank. Is the crank gear different 1 vs 2?

His old motor is going in my daughters 94 z28 when i get the head work finished on it.

As you can see, we are making some big changes!

I think the crank sprockets are the same. The difference should be timing cover, sensor/reluctor, and hub.
    96 Z28 - ERE-383, AFRs, 9", Procharger D1, TermiX, etc.
95 Roadmaster - T56 swap, H/C, suspension (aka The Cammaster)
95 Firehawk - LE1s, suspension, brakes, HPDE car --> Track Vids

I have all of that. SO the woodruff key on obd1 will catch the reluctor?
