Talking lt1 camaro vs infinti g37 coupe

Hi new to the forum. Ive owed my camaro for a few years now slowly coming together. Currently im running the slp cold air intake, coolant bypass, pacesetter longtube headers, 3 inch pacesetter off road y pipe, maganflow exhaust cats deleted, it is a t56 with a hurst short throw shifter and 4.10 rear gears. will be getting electric water pump and cc503 cam with valve train upgrades.

I was wondering if anyone on here has ever ran a bolt on g37 coupe. I messed around with one the other night. From a 40 roll I had him by about a car and half to two cars and from a 25 roll I started in first gear and broke traction spun till the top of second hooked up and passed him. I know those g37s are a little over 300 hp stock which is a bit more then your average stock lt1. It was friendly run so no smack talking or people getting their feelings hurt. I was posting this on here to see if anyone has had a similar experiece running those cars with relatively the same mods I do?

Sounds like you got a nice ride. Welcome to the site.
I pooped on one when I first got my car. My car was bone stock, m6.
"Friend" on fb called me out to Woodward. So I went.

Thanks i appreicate it. It holds its own for being just a bolt on lt1. Have yet to get an ls1 to play with me yet haha. I havent been able to get a good run down the 1/4 mile track yet. street tires and traction problems. Im hoping a decent pair of drag radials or slicks and my umi reloction brackets will solve that issue. As soon as i do ill post up some times.

They are pretty quick cars... i can tell u my wifes car... a bone stock 3.8 genesis track is almost a dead race with the g's and hers runs low 14s (auto) at the track. My stock ta runs high 14s at the same track... welcome to the forum... make an intro in the intro section and post lots of pics.
