95 Corvette LT1 engine
I bought this engine a few years ago for my S10 project. Its a corvette shortblock with 18K miles that was replaced under warranty because of a busted connecting rod. No other damage was done. I replaced the busted rod with a new one, and have new bearings, rings, oil pump, timing set and a full gasket kit for it. I also have an OBD1 and OBD2 front cover and the crank reluctor ring and an OBD2 crank hub. The OBD 2 timing cover and reluctor are brand new and i have the gmpp opti delete timing pointer as i was going to do a rear mount vortec disgributor. Shortblock will need to be cleaned up and reassembled. I have a 34% UD crank pulley and a stock balancer pulley as well as a new belt for the UD pulley i will include. Block is STD bore and 4 bolt mains.
The aluminum heads have been ported, i bought them like this not sure who did the port work, i have new 2.00/1.57 stainless steel valves, need to have the valve job done for the new valves. I have .600 lift spring kit as well. No rockers. Also have a stock steel oil pan and valve covers.
Intake is painted black with a new EGR valve and a stock TB. And according to the PO the injectors are 42# but i have not confirmed this, they look stock to me. I have a stock accessory bracket, new idler and tensioner pulleys and a new a/c delete pulley. Also new p/s hoses but no other accessories. Brand new water pump and thermostat housing.
I have a comp 467xfi cam, 230/236@.050 .570/.576 lift with 1.6 rockers on a 113LSA. Also have a custom LE cam that is ~239@.050 with ~.590 lift with 1.6 rockers on a 110LSA, i have the cam card just dont remember the actual specs but that gives you an idea. Will include one with the engine and sell the other separate, buyers choice.
I also have two other stock intakes that are bare and one stock fuel rail.
This will be a great budget build engine for someone willing to do alittle work. Should make some good power. I also have a complete 97 f-body engine wiring harness i will include for the right price.
I will be swapping in an L31 vortec 350/4l60e into my S10 SS so i need to clean out my storage with stuff i have no use for. With this not being a ready to run engine im not sure what its worth, but would like to sell it as a whole rather than part it out. There is some surface rust on the block, crank and cams from getting exposed in storage but will clean up easily.
So im willing negotiate and make a fair deal, but will not give this stuff away so please no low ballers. Im located in Houston Tx, and if your within say an 8 hr drive max of me im willing to meet half way to help with delivery.
