    Default question about magnaflow CB

when standing behind my car it is pretty obvious (even more in the cold) that the majority (~90%) of the sound/flow is coming out of the pass side of the muffler. was just wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if i should be checking to see if there is something lodged in my muffler. exhaust sat in my barn for 2 years while my car was down, never thought to check the muffler for anything before reinstalling it. thanks

I wouldn't say 90% comes out of one side, but there's definitely a bias in that muffler. Cut it open (for science) and report back.

I don't remember anything out of the ordinary when I had mine. Did you hear anything rattling around in the muffler before you put it on?

no rattling that i can remember, was thinking mice may have gotten in it, but figured that i would have crap spitting out of the tailpipe if that was the case. maybe i will pull the muffler off this weekend and see if i can see anything abnormal. like i said, it is really obvious the difference when standing behind it. the magnaflow was on the car when i bought it and has seen better days, so will probably be replacing it soon with a spintech 2otl cb anyways but was just curious if anyone else has noticed the same thing with theirs. thanks guys

I never noticed a sound difference, BUT on cold days you could clearly see that the driver side had a lot more exhaust coming out. I think its just the way the inside is designed and the way the exhuast flows through the muffler.
