i'd get ahold of Lloyd Elliot and see if he can grind a 227 for you. that cam is pretty legendary for the torque it produced and how stock it sounded.
I personally ran a comp cams 304 for a while and I didn't really like it cause it was a sleeper cam and i wanted to hear the lope. For what it was it ran good though, it made good stop light to stop light power.Last edited by englundjd; 04-05-2015 at 11:18 AM.

That cam will have tons of TQ right off idle and pull to 6000 RPM with stock heads and 1 3/4 LT headers. A cam with a lil more duratiion would OBVIOUSLY make more HP/TQ in the 4000-6000 RPM range but if your main goal is to focus on HP/TQ in the idle to 4000 RPM range this cam is fine.
It is milder than what most would want to use but that doesn't mean its not the right choice for your set up.
I am a dealer for Lunati so I can beat Summits price for you .
60120 is the old part # for that cam.
The new part # for that cam is 20080720
We have done a 215/223 .546/.565 (based on a 1.6 rocker) 112 LSA cam for a few B body and Vette guys running stock 3.08/2.59 gears with no stall and they have all been happy with this cam.

thanks for input guys, the off idle to say 5000 rpm is what im looking for.i don't want to have to port heads and use1.6 rockers too much for budget.not too concerned about top end as I can never use it even stock where I am at. again thanks for input.

My lpe 211/219 pulls hard right off idle all the way to damn near redline. I am stock intake and heads (mostly, I shade tree gasket match and p&p my heads) and 1.6 scorpions. The budget was tight and I am more than happy with the car now.

Also I am a 93 with a m29 t56 and 3.23 rear. Do not go with hypertech for the tune. Get pcm for less, Solomon , or ed wright to get you a real tune for a 93.

thanx for info about your happy with cam. that is exactly what I am looking for. I will be getting a chip burned for my tune, the hypertech was in the car when I bought it so I don't have any way to know what the stock tune was like ,but the car has always run well with it just a tad rich when warmed up
