    Default New Member - '95 Camaro M6 Z28

Hello from the original owner of a 1995 M6 Z28. Over the years, I've installed a Moroso cold-air intake, mid-length headers, and a Hooker cat-back exhaust. Other than Taylor ignition wires it was mostly stock, up until about a week ago. I'm retiring in a few weeks and decided to get back into racing after a 30+ year intermission. The Moser 3.73 12 bolt and LS1 driveshaft went in last week. A COMP 503 cam, 1.6 rockers, springs, etc is on the way. The drag radials won't be too far behind. Came here looking for a mail-order tune and recommendations for mods with a good bang for the buck. Shooting for mid-high 12's.
    Cheers!
    Jim

Washing it tomorrow. The '55 sitting next to it is powered by a '95 LT1 and a t56.

Retiring from 39 years in the aerospace industry. Worked on lots of interesting platforms over the years and some that never got off the ground. Started out as a machinist, ended up as a plant manager of a 400 person shop. The stories I could tell....

I've had a lot of cars over the years - wish I still had all of 'em. Started out with a '69 Cutlass convertible that I swapped in a cammed 400 Olds motor, m-21, and 3.91 twelve bolt rear. Fun car - manual steering, manual drum brakes, factory 4-speed. Managed to squeeze a 13.90 out of it with the wheels spinning through most of 1st and 2nd gear. I think I had G60-14 bias ply Kelly Super Chargers on it.

A friend of mine turned me on to this site, mentioned you by (popo8) by name. Said he met you once or twice. I'm surprised I never ran across this site before - lots of good stuff!
