Bearings and oil pump, 1991 Dodge stealth RT/TT. Buddy's car, but he wants to sell it cheap and I know a guy.....
Known the car for 10 years, he's taken good care of it. Has a built bottom end, he lost interest, put it back together, drove it for another 70k, and now it needs bearings, rattles when hot. Interior is almost shot but that can be fixed. Such a cool car IMO.

As found.JPGThis 1980 Cobra Mustang started off as the youngest sons project but he lost interest so it is now the oldest sons project and this is how it looked after sitting in a field since 1997.
Cleaned up.JPGThis is how it looked after a bath, the interior is totally shot butr the car is solid and even though it sank in to the ground the car still has rust free floors ect.
(33) Mustang engine.jpgThis was my old 5 liter engine setup, everything will work for the older car and we are going to do a later model engine swap to it. I did give the LTX swap some consideration because I will have an extra complete A4 setup but with the smog nazias here it would not fly as easy as a later model 5 liter swap and my son has always wanted a Mustang like I used to have. I did tell him that in the next few years he will be getting the Z28 so he and my grandson can start on it as a father son project of their own. I also hope that with a better job to build a older car again thats big block chevy powered, or maybe a Vega with a nasty blown LT! in it.If you don't stand behind our MIlitary then feel free to stand in front of them.<---- This is my oldest son (PROUD DAD HERE) Mike (just plain mad) Madman337 1993 Camaro Z/28 A4 all stock other than a muffler and LCAs @292K+ miles. 2006 Chevrolet Avalanche. 1970 Pontiac Firebird. 1972 Camaro, 1994 Corvette, 17 Fusion Sport AWD V6 Twin Turbo

MY ESCALADE needs to be lowered... thats it.
Sorry... all mine are LTX...
My camaro is "done" for now other than wanting to redo the exhaust...
The trans am will get the camaros y pipe all the way back to the end...its own set of LTs... 373s with TA diff coverthat are sitting in the garage. Small floor rust repair, new head unit, ac compressor...paint and tint.
The vette will be getting the lt1 that came out of the donor camaro... Carb'd and on the bottle for an extra 100... A diet... And proper suspension to make it more "drag-able."
LTXtech.com is my DRUG!Last edited by popo8; 03-05-2015 at 10:23 AM.

Well my current project is a camper hauler, got a 98 k3500 4x4, crew cab single wheel, with a 355 sporting dart ss heads, LT1 cam, GM 1.6 SA rockers and a TPI intake, shorty headers and stock exhaust. I pull a 32 ft cougar travel trailer up the mountain several times a year, hoping this will do the job better than the old tbi c1500 I had did.
this is what I haul.

these are the last pics of the project

its quite a bit farther along than this, just havent taken any recent pics.Last edited by superspirit; 03-05-2015 at 01:06 PM.
