    Speculated March 16th, 2009. Chevy's website says Spring '09

Obviously at this date it's too early to tell. They could sell (preorder) like wildfire between now and then and you'd have to wait till mid summer before you could walk into a dealership and buy one.

Wasn't looking to buy a Camaro, looking to buy a truck actually. I want to pick one up by LTxshootout so I have a tow vehicle but thats in May. When dealers had 08s and 09s both on lots the rebates were awesome on the 08s. This was around October/November.

They do that every year to push inventory. The employee pricing is usually as cheap as you're going to find them. Most of the older models are going to be priced below invoice the majority of the time. Not to mention its alot more hassle-free. Probably the best time to buy if you don't mind buying something new that's a model year older. That bugs some people... I don't get it.

I think It's typically July or August... kinda depends on the car, and if a significant differences are introduced, etc.

It's going to depend on the dealership as well. Generally, you're bigger dealers are going to have the newer models before the smaller guys. Between the sales and the manager(s) stategy, it can postpone the orders by 2-3 months. That's from my experience anyway.
