1993 z28 383 speed density
I just bought a 1993 z28 with a 383 and trickflow heads, not sure what cam bc I didnt build it. lopes pretty hard. car runs rich and I feel like it needs better tunning. It blows flames out when shifting sometimes and letting off the gas. there is no shop near my area the tunes Lt1's. whats the best way to get this thing tuned with the speed density? I would like to do the 24x conversion but thats later down the road.
can I data log it and send the pcm out?20150111_131627.jpg

How do you know the car runs rich? Do you have a wideband?
I believe the 93s are no different (as far as guage cluster goes) so it should work with 24x.
24x is worth every penny whether you pay someone else to do it or DIY from the harness to the tuning.
Edit* nice looking car, needs to be lowered I always thought about the same hood for my car.

Regardless of what you do tuning/pcm wise you should still change the cluster, 93s are that funky jaundice yellow lol

I have a 93 z28, Has gmpp hot cam package with 1.6 rr, headers, ported heads and intake, all the bolt ons and was tuned by FASTCHIP.COM in NC. My car screams on motor and on a 200 shot. Never had it on a dyno yet though...
