wow, pistons are REAL clean.
I would pull the pistons and look for crack or measure piston to wall clearance.
If its puffing smoke like that from a crank case breather Iwould say bottom end is wounded some way.

Already pulled pistons, no cracks, bores looked good. Motor is becoming a 383 anyway. My question is about the exhaust guides having oil on them inside the ports. Also, the rotating of the valves and the valve tips having marks on them.

This motor had 1k on it since it was heads cam built, and about 50 miles boosted.1994 Firebird Formula 381 stroker - Carrying the torch! - 9.64 @ 139.4mph

strange on the valve tips.
What cam was that in the car?
What lifters?
What kinda preload?
If thiose are the LE1 heads that you bought from me they had 165 lbs on the seat for your boosted set up and that should be fine unless they are Comp R lifters, rockers too tight or a cam with real aggressive lobes.
160-165 lbs on seat with good lifters adjusted properly should be stable to 7000 RPM with 15 psi of boost with one of the blower cams that we do.
As fara s the seals, I would think that it would make other gaskets (valve cover, oil pan, etc) leak a lil also if there is that much pressure in the engine to push oil past valve guide seals too but I am not sure.

Bullet 228/234 592/592 on on a 110lsa, ls7 lifters, 3/4 turn, scorpion 1.6 sa rockers (which the rollers look fine on). These were LE2 heads done under Goodman in 10/13, not LE1's. @NightTrain66

I bet thatw as valve float then.
those lobhes are pretty aggressive and need quite a bit of pressure N/A
Once you add 10 PSI of boost you have 10 psi of pressure on the back of intake valves trying toi hold them open and that will eat up about 25 lbs of seat pressure.
More boost pressure would eat up even more spring pressure.
If the heads and the cam were not set up for a boosted set up (extra seat pressure on springs and slower ramp speed on closing side of intake lobe) floating the valves would be a DEFINITE possobility/probability.
As fara s the blow by causing oil to come thru the guides/seals, it makes sense that this could happen but I ahve never had a car with severe blow by diagnosed and tore down looking for that. Once the blow by was realized (broke piston, etc) the engine was always tore down an completely went thru so i never chased problems like that or looked for culprits.
Was there any oil pushed or dripped thru at oil pan, timing cover, valve cover gaskets, etc?
Lloyd
