    Default Ford 9" for $400

    Hey Family!

I have a friend who is selling is ford 9" after he was rear ended in an accident. According to him it wasn't damaged.

What do you guys think? What should I look for?

I'm about 1k into my 8.8 and am not sure if it is really worth it.

8.8's are plenty strong. as for the 9" i would have a reputable chassis shop look at it and verify its strait before pay for it.

If be scared as well. Since ur already 1k into a 8.8 if go that route. Could be a great deal or could be a problem.

For 400 tho, you could at least check it out.

What is the rear out of? I wouldn't spend 400 and have to fab it to make it fit when you already have a grand into an 8.8.
