    It's all a mater of opinion look how many people still run sbc or bbc. It's easy to go main stream if you want to be like everyone else. I personally like to be different and love my ltx kind of sucks if you go to a car show or event and everyone opens there hoods and it's all the same. If it's a thing of the past it must be worth less and he can donate all his ltx stuff to me I will put it to good use and show him how obsolete it is

    LT1s are rather worthless, can't even give away the one I have laying around. Whereas a 100k mileage 5.3 out of a junkyard fetches $500-800. Crazy.

    Its actually probably a great shortblock still, less than 85k on it and never had a single issue. I think when the current motor is rebuilt I will rebuild the stocker as a near bearings/gaskets 350ci and do something with it.
