Well it's coming along slowly but surely. Got the opti, plug wires, water pump, throttle body, new intake elbow (with nitrous port) and most of the wiring harness installed. We took the battery cables off with plans of running the battery in the trunk but I don't have time to do all that right now and I just want it running so I have to reinstall the cables where they went. Also turns out i dont have to paint the valve covers lol. Had to buy Canton valve covers cause the stock ones weren't clearing very well after I removed a bunch of the bracing in them. Those should be here Friday then I can get the rest of the wiring done and start with the radiator and hoses

    Onto the pics

I'm back! Sorry for disappearing guys, I kinda got over my head with everything that I needed to finish the car with so before I caused any damage to new parts, I parked her for awhile. Ended up talking with my friends dad that helped last year and he came and picked it up last week. He helped me with odds and ends that I couldn't quite do myself like correct procedure for installing rockers and pushrods, completing the wiring harness under the dash, wiring in the waterpump, etc. Well we finally got it running today! And it sounds wicked. Now I just need to get it a stall converter, a tune, then some gears and I'll be done for awhile performance wise

    sounds good.

Just skimming over this thread and I saw where you mentioned that the 7.200" PR's were too short and a 7.300" is what you used.

What lifters are you using and how did you measure PR length?

None of my business really it just seems that evertime I measure for PR length on an LT1 with ported heads we end up in the 6.900-7.050" range and was curious what was different on your set up.

Are they the stock length valves in the heads?

    What rockers are those?

Thanks Mr Elliot! Thanks for the badass cam too lol but we just used a pushrod length checker. Stock lifters and stock aluminum heads besides the port job and new valve seals.
My rockers are Scorpion race 1.6rr http://www.competitionproducts.com/S...ductinfo/S167/
My friend said the reason they needed to be .100 longer than stock was to make up for the guide plates that I used

Well I'm picking up a super clean 96 v6 roller next week! I'm so excited. The body on my car is complete crap and I would swap my drivetrain to this v6 body if I could somehow get a title on it. But otherwise I'll be swapping bumpers, doors, hatch, fenders onto mine. And eventually I'll have the quarters cut off and welded onto my car. Getting it for a steal at $500 with the shape the body is in. Has nice cloth seats too vs my heavy and torn leather seats
