Painting the 93's engine bay
Motors going to be out of the car and going to have the entire engine bay repainted. This will be done by a paint shop to it'll be a base and clear paint job. The first choice is obviously have it re-shot to the original bright red. This would mean when the rest of the car got painted it would need to be the factory color. Next option would be to paint it black and clear it. This would give me options if I wanted to paint it a different shade of red than the factory. Not sure, I have about two weeks to decide. I am pretty torn because when the rest of the car got repainted it would be cool to do a red but maybe a different red. The different red which is more orange would be get the car reshot in a custom Pontiac Carousel red like Trans Am depot did.

Im a big fan of black motor compartments. Two reasons... one.. it goes with any exterior... 2nd... a shiny clean motor pops like a jewel in a jewelry box.

I ended up finding a Pontiac High Performance article about that cars paint, sounds really expensive, it's a custom pearl. Yeah, the factory red may be it. The black engine bay would be cool though, most the time I see black engine bays it's usually a rattle can job. Like you said it does with everything.
