Bleeding the cooling sysetm
Ok so I just got my car back together its a stock other than headers. for some reason I cant get the cooling system to bleed. I've used 4 gallons already which I thought should have been more than enough. When I bring the rpm's up to about 2k for a few seconds and let it come back down coolant comes out of the bleeder screw then nothing comes out while idling I've got new headgaskets, water pump, thermostat, all of the hoses are hooked up and where they need to be, no visible leaks, no smoke, nothing. I tried this for almost 45 minutes, and couldn't get it to bleed, but when the next day came around I went to check the radiator and nothing was there it was bone dry. I don't have any coolant in the oil, no white smoke from anywhere, the car doesn't get hot it gets to 220 then the fans kick on and it comes back down as should. So I am stumped does anybody have any idea on what to do? Thanks in advance.
