    Default Tuning out 02 sensors

At what point is a cam to big for tuning with 02 sensors? I have a solid roller and wondered if the overlap was too much to for the 02 sensors.

Only way to truly find out is to scan it and find out. Tuning out the o2's is pretty simple. What software are you using?

I'm using tunercats. Trying to get the new logging software working. I have them off right now.

Having them off isnt going to hurt anything. Your just going to be running in open loop. Basically you're going to have shitty gas mileage and no part throttle fuel corrections.

    yep.

i did it on my friends 306 cam car, my car that had a little bigger cam, and my friends 408 solid roller lt1.

drive ability is greatly improved, but gas mileage will suffer, mainly when weather starts to change from when you tuned it.

but i wouldnt turn them off till you get the scanner working. plus a wideband is needed to dial in the tune. leaving them off without knowing whats going on could lead to a very lean/rich condition.
