On with the rebuild...
I ended up rebuilding the entire front and rear suspension, new trailing arms, u-joints, bushings, shocks, the whole deal... Quite a learning experience. Pass side suspension after rebuild 1.JPGDriver side trailng arm 4.JPG

I then finally had a drivable corvette... Still not pretty but running.
I picked up pieces along the way, like a complete headlight set from a '80 Vette. Had to modify them slightly to fit my '70, then rebuild them to working order and ditched the Daytona headlights.
B&M shifter went in at some point and I drove it as much as possible.
Summer before last, during a round trip to/from work, I work 90 miles from home I discovered it was using 2 quarts of oil during the trip. So I was looking for a replacement or rebuildable motor for it. I just happened to work with a Vietnam Vet (Oooh Rah) Marine Sniper who had for sale a 1994 Buick Roadmaster..... LT1/4L60E....
