    Default 1997 WS6 Trans Am

Time to move on to another project (my 1976 Datsun 280Z that I've had for 20+ years). Only 700 of these came to Canada in '97, this is 1 of 20 with it's option list...loaded! Stage II tranny rebuild, B&M rachet shifter, new head gaskets, subframe connectors, tubular/adj lower control arms F & R. PCM reflashed, flip up 7" DVD with rearview camera (dual amps and built in 10" sub), fuel line/battery relocation. 2 yr old water pump, new coil, 8.5 MSD wires, 1 year old battery, adj. fuel pressure regulator, rebuilt headlight motors (aluminum gears), new power window motors, polyurethane throughout, adj. panhard bar, 3 point front strut brace and probably some stuff I'm forgetting. $8,500.

First a pic of the Z and a few of the TA:

1997 WS6 TA, Adj. Panhard, Spohn's F/R adj. tubular LCA's, Edelbrock 3 point front strut tower brace, rear relocation brackets, SFC's, Hooker cat back, full poly kit, 8.5 MSD wires, PCMfor less tune, transgo stage 2 shift kit + + and all the free mods.

SOLD! 77 $100 bills in my pocket. I may even shed a tear when it pulls away for the last time. Time to haul the Datsun engine to the machine shop for boring & balancing.

Thanks Larry! Great bunch in here, I'll still stop by from time to time. At some point I'll be bored with the 6 cylinder and have plans for a V8 swap. Ya never know, it may be an LT1!
