    Default Lt1 rod cap bolts / nuts

    Does the stock lt1 rods use bolts or nuts? I know stupid question but I needa know If I can use aftermarket rods cap bolts in the stock rods

    They're LS pro comp rod cap bolts that I will be getting for free if they'll work

    I suppose there may be. It would depend on what the size of the shank is on the current studs and what they'd need to be drilled and tapped to.

    Stock LT rods are through bolted with a bolt and nut. I wouldn't even attempt to put bolts only on these rods. It's not worth the effort.

    Thanks @Featherburner if anything I will tear apart the motor and install Weisco dome pistons and Some forged scat rods and port my 195's to the max and get a bigger cam and spray the heck outta my car
