mods to use?
Hi! i have cammed 355 lt1 and need to know few things before going on further on the build. I have this cam and springs etc for the car http://www.ebay.com/itm/COMP-Cams-K0...ce19b7&vxp=mtr
Also full headers, tru dual exhaust with h-pipe. heated oxygen sensors. No egr, air etc.
i´m using stock injectors and stock throttle body, are they too restrictive or can they still be tuned properly in dyno? Not gonna build race car, only little faster weekend cruiser
oh and this engine is going on my 1967 camaro so no need for emission stuff because not needed in that old car in here.

The injectors have to flow enough to support the flywheel HP of the engine. The stock 94-97 injectors are programmed as 24.9 #/HR, so you can run them up to ~355 flywheel HP without getting into issues with duty cycle (calculation assumes an 85% DC limit). 30 #/HR injectors will take you well over 400 flywheel HP. If your engine came out of a 93, it will have smaller injectors.
Throttle body should be OK. My engine builders were able to demonstrate on an engine dyno that a 52mm throttle body would support 500 flywheel HP. So the stock 48mm should be good for 400 flywheel HP, based on flow area of the blades.
I would just keep an eye on the injectors for signs of reaching their limits and causing it to run lean. You may be close.SOLD - GONE TO A (VERY) GOOD HOME ! - 94 Formula A3+1: 381ci forged stroker - Callies Stealth, Oliver 5.85 billet rods, BME nitrous pistons / CNC LT4 heads / CC solid roller / TH400+GearVendors OD / 4.11 Strange 12-bolt / 300-shot N2O / Spohn Suspension / roll bar / MoTeC M48 Pro engine management system /a few other odds 'n ends.

You're going to need a decent fuel pump if you don't have one already. 255 is what everyone goes with typically.
96 Z28 - ERE-383, AFRs, 9", Procharger D1, TermiX, etc.
95 Roadmaster - T56 swap, H/C, suspension (aka The Cammaster)
95 Firehawk - LE1s, suspension, brakes, HPDE car --> Track Vids

chances are your stock injectors will work as long as you just stick with bolt-ons and cam...
If you dont feel comfortable with the stock ones get some svo #30 injectors, there pretty commonLast edited by englundjd; 06-12-2014 at 07:46 PM.
